Wendy is a Senior UX Manager and Design System Leader at GoTo, formerly LogMeIn. She drove GoTo's in-depth research into the accessibility of online meeting tools which led to the formation of the company’s grassroots Accessibility Champions program and the position of a dedicated Accessibility Lead. Wendy also leads GoTo’s Chameleon Design System team that she helped build from scratch and now supports 10 product lines across 2 distinct business units.
Driven by a strong interest in communication and human connection, Wendy holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and is a certified Communication Designer (Diplom). As she enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge, she has given a variety of talks and workshops on accessibility, design, eye-tracking research, and creative subtitling. When she isn’t pushing for user-centered design and systematic problem-solving, she can usually be found climbing at boulder gyms or all across Europe’s beautiful mountain ranges.
